When Brett Goldstein, Jason Siegel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Siegel said that Goldstein originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and would be involved in casting people like Ford.
Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the part
Siegel told Goldstein that they should at least pitch it to Ford, figuring he would immediately decline, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford had been pitched to the project, generating interest from other notable actors. The acting was amazing
It was a solid production and a very unique plot. I love how each character embraces their own imperfections and shows vulnerability and uses humor to encourage spiritual growth. Shrinking has a lot of heartfelt moments, awkward moments, slightly funny sweet moments, and laugh-out-loud moments.
Is it perfect?
I hope they continue to make additional seasons of this season because the character development calls for it. no But none of us are. I think overuse of profanity takes away from the overall potential of the power.
Definitely worth seeing
It seems like the writers are forcing the show to be edgy. I personally don’t think it was necessary. That’s why I gave it an 8.
