town that traps every visitor
Unravel a secret in a mid-U.S. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The site, known as Beaver Bank Village, has a long history and many years ago housed housing, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a convenience store, and more (all demolished by 2004) to support the workers of a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. All that remains are the paved streets and driveways, and a mock town has been built on top of them. When Boyd climbs a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. When Boyd comes out of the well, Martin is the only one in the room and he is chained to the wall.

Much better than I thought it would be based on some of the negative reviews here. So good that I binged the first two seasons over the long weekend.
A very fun and entertaining watch
I can’t wait for season three to come out. Great premise for a show that has some similarities to shows like Lost and Wayward Pines, but different enough that it doesn’t feel like I’m watching the same show. I definitely recommend this to anyone who enjoys a horror/mystery type show with a bit of gore. I hope there are more seasons, or at least enough to get answers to all the questions I still have.
