Plot
Raina’s life was in danger after she opened the door and entered an unmarked room in a hotel managed by her sister, Fey. A woman with white hair and skin also made her presence known. Set in Indonesia, the film follows a woman named “Ningrum.” (Hami Diah) is hired as a maid in a hotel near Jakarta.
Of course, being a little curious, she immediately goes to investigate
On her first day, she learns that renovations are underway on the third floor and that she should avoid them at all costs. Seeing no problem with this instruction, she eagerly agrees and begins her first day on the job. Then, to her surprise, she hears the sound of a woman sobbing – coming from a room on the third floor.
Sure enough, three days later, at midnight, she is killed by an invisible being
Then, entering the room from which the sound was probably coming, she looks in horror at an extremely pale woman with white hair, who, after mumbling some strange words to her, causes the woman to run out of the room in panic. The scene then shifts to a woman named “Raina” (Luna Maya) traveling to the hotel she inherited from her father. Traveling with her is her adopted teenage daughter, “Fey” (Bianca Hello), who is looking forward to starting a new life in this exotic location.
When they arrive, she is greeted by her in-laws, who have been taking care of the place for several years
And like everyone else who comes to this hotel, they advise her to avoid the third floor at all costs. Unfortunately, it doesn’t take long before she hears a sound coming from one of the rooms on this floor that sounds like a woman sobbing – and then the horror begins all over again. Now, instead of giving away more, I’ll just say that it was a good horror film, the main advantage of which was its dark atmosphere and beautiful landscapes.
Although the acting was good, the film was somewhat weakened by a fairly predictable plot and an unsatisfying ending
Despite this, although it’s certainly not an outstanding horror film, it still held my attention for most of the film and I gave it the appropriate rating. Average.
