Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM) 2013 will be held on 10 February, 2013 (Sunday) for admission to M.Sc. (twoyear), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D, M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual degree and other post-bachelor’s degree programmes at the IITs Bombay (IITB), Delhi (IITD), Guwahati (IITG), Hyderabad (IITH), Kanpur (IITK), Kharagpur (IITKgp), Madras (IITM) and Roorkee (IITR)] for the academic session 2013-15.

JAM 2013 is open to all nationals. However, foreign nationals will be required
to satisfy the rules and regulations of the admitting Institute(s) pertaining to foreign students for admission.

 COMMON ADMISSION TEST (CAT 2013)

Common Admission Test (CAT) is an entrance exam for admission to post graduate management courses in all the Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) and various other management institutes.

Availability of forms for CAT 2013-2014:  CAT vouchers will be available through Axis bank branches and their associated outlats during the period August 2012 to September 2012. After buying the voucher candidates will be supposed to apply online.

Eligibility criteria:
For general candidates: A candidate should have got atleast 50% or equivalent CGPA in Graduation.
For SC/ST candidates: A candidate should have got atleast 45% or equivalent CGPA in Graduation.
Final year candidates who will complete their gradudation in 2013 can also apply.

 MANAGEMENT APTITUDE TEST (MAT)

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is an entrance exam conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) for admission to the post graduate management courses throughout various management institutes in the country.

Eligibility criteria for appearing in MAT requires a candidate to be a graduate. The candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also apply for MAT for provisional admission subjected to the completion of their graduation.

 GRADUATE MANAGEMENT ADMISSION TEST(GMAT)

Graduate Management Admission Test(GMAT) is a worldwide entrance test conducted for admission in Post Graduation Management courses in a number of foreign universities and institutes.

Registration for GMAT:  Candidates can register for GMAT online, by phone, by fax or by email. To register online follow the given link: Apply Online. Canditates can also register for GMAT by calling at 0120-4324628 for India. Candidates can also register by filling a form and sending it by fax or mail. There is no fixed date when GMAT exam can be taken. It can be taken any time of the year with prior appointment. GMAT score is valid in over 1900 institutes around the world. Score obtained in GMAT is one of the selection criterias for shortlisting/selecting candidates for selection procedures by business schools. The fees for taking GMAT is $250. GMAT scores are valid for a period of 5 years.

Eligibility criteria:
EAnyone can take GMAT as there is no minimum age requirement or educational qualifications needed to take GMAT. However candidates need to note that GMAT in itself an eligibility criteria for admission in various B-Schools and there will be other eligibility criterias as well for different B-Schools.

 All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examinations (AIEEE): 2013

All India Engineering/Architecture Entrance Examinations (AIEEE) is amongst the famous exams for admission in engineering/architecture bachelor courses throughout most of the leading engineering/architecture institutes across the country.

Eligibility criteria:
For admission through AIEEE a candidate needs to pass in Class 12th. A candidate can only appear for AIEEE 2013 if he/she has passed/appearing class 12th.Those who want to appear for BE/BTech entrance should compulsory have Physics and Mathematics in class 12th and at least one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Biology. Those appearing for architecture courses should have Mathematics in class 12th with at least 50% marks aggregate.

Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Exam (IIT-JEE) is organized and conducted by Indian Institute of Technology. IITJEE is the exam conducted for the students who aspire to take admission in Engineering and Technology courses under the top technical institutes of India.

The form will be available from the month of November, 2012. The IIT JEE candidates have to submit the dully filled forms within the mid of December 2012.

The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board. The candidate can appear in the Joint Entrance Exam two times only, that also should be in consecutive years. The candidate must be physically fit for the course for which they have applied. The candidates who will be giving their final examinations of 10+2 in 2013 are also eligible to apply.
