Food Safety Solution Center is training center for Advanced Instrumentation Analysis in Collaboration of the Thermo fisher Scientific Ltd. and FSSAI

This center (CSC) is equipped with advanced analytical solutions ( LC- MS/MS, Orbitrap -High resolution Mass spec, GC-MS/MS, ICP-MS etc.) that will overcome a wide range of challenges presently faced by food safety communityin the routine analysis of food for quality, safety and authenticity.Everything we do here at FSSCbegins with our Mission – to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. To fulfil our Mission, we have a remarkable team of colleagues who bring unique perspectives and talents. Their dedication, passion creates meaningful outcomes. We’re sharing our expertise and technological advancements with customers, helping them make the world a better place- by making sure our food is safe.

The Food Safety Solution Centeris regularly conducting trainings/workshops and seminars in collaboration with FSSAI, experts and key opinion leaders from the industry to provide insights into recent regulations and explore the latest developments and innovations to address key challenges. So far, the center has conducted more than 30+ workshops, trainings for participants across the industry both Government and Private. Our skilled Scientists/ analysts at the Centerare also focusing on method development, training and supportingadvance/ next-generation workflows and integrated solutions across chromatography and mass spectrometry, in collaboration with the FSSAI.

1. Training Programme on Pesticide Residue Analysis in Fruits & Vegetables
  • Five days Training Program on “Multi Pesticide Residue Analysis in Fruits and Vegetables” held from 14 th to 18 th October, 2019 at Food Safety Solution Center (FSSC),NFL,Ghaziabad.
  • Ten (10) trainees participated in the training program from different State Food Laboratories across the country.(Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Mumbai, Kozhikode, Kerala, Karnataka, Kohima, Uttarakhand, UttarPradesh Mumbai, Gujarat, Patna).
2.  Training Programme on Pesticide Residue Analysis in Fruits & Vegetables
  • Five days Training Program (Batch-II) on “Multi Pesticide Residue Analysis in Fruits and Vegetables” held from 11 th to 15 th November, 2019 at Food Safety Solution Center (FSSC), NFL, Ghaziabad.
  • Nineteen (19) trainees participated in the training program from different State Food Laboratory/NFL/ Private Labs/CRCL across the country, DFQC, Nepal(Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Kerala, Karnataka, Uttarakhand,Lucknow,  Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, New Delhi and, Nepal).
3. Training Programme on Multi-Element analysis in Fresh Fruits & Vegetables by Using ICP-MS
  • Three days Training Program on “Multi Element (Heavy Metals) Analysis in Fresh Fruits and Vegetables by using ICP-MS” held from 18 th to 20 th December, 2019 at Food Safety Solution Center (FSSC), NFL,Ghaziabad.
  • Sixteen (16) trainees participated in the training program from different State Food Laboratory/NFL/ Private Labs across the county, DFQC, Nepal (Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Kerala,Karnataka,Uttarakhand,Rajasthan,UttarPradesh, West Bengal-NFL Kolkata, Kolhapur , Mumbai and, Nepal).
4. Multi-Pesticide Residues Analysis in Cereals by using LC-MS/MS & GC-MS/MS
  • Five days Training Program on “Multi-Residues Analysis in Cereals by using LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS” washeld from 17 th to 21 st February, 2020 at Food Safety Solution Center (FSSC), National Food Laboratory (NFL), Ghaziabad.
  • Twelve (12) trainees participated in the training program from different State Food Laboratory/ Private and Govt. Labs across the county.(Mumbai, Kerala, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Kolkata).
